Mat and Alyssa met in 2019 through social media and never looked back. After doing long distance for 3.5 years, they finally took the leap to purchasing their first home in Timmins, ON. After a year and a half in their new home, Mat and Alyssa moved to Moosonee, ON. to set off on a new adventure together.

They have spent the past five years doing all the things they love together from concerts, to fishing, and most of all spending with their fur babies.

On Christmas eve of 2023, while taking a beautiful walk with their dogs Mat got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Now here they are, wishing to celebrate their special day with their closest friends and family.
